NBC RED NETWORK FEED OF 12/07/41

CONTENTS:

"Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 - a date that will live in infamy...", state President Franklin D. Roosevelt as he stood before a join session of the U.S. Congress asking for a declaration of war.  The sneak attack on Pearl Harbor and other Hawaiian sites, began a few minutes before 8-- 00 a.m. Hawaiian time. The attack lasted less than two hours and was considered a brilliant success, but also delivered a resolve on the part of the American public to beat back the agressors, both across the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans.  Germany and Italy declared war on the United States on December 11th.  The following NBC Network feeds are from that shocking day.  There is a five hour difference between Hawaii and the east coast.
