CONTENTS:

     Heard first on the West Coast Blue Network, on 02/03/42, the program aired three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. PST.  From 05/20/42 until 09/09/42, the series had a dual role of importance. Scripts were heard first from Mutual West Coast outlet at KHJ on Monday, Wednesday and Friday's, and then the same scripts were used over the Blue network for the East Coast broadcasts, a day later, on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.  The only serious rival to The Lone Ranger.  The sponsor was by Langendorf Bread, a West Coast product and for that reason was mostly heard on the Mutual-Don Lee Network on the West Coast.  It's time slot was  at 7:30 p.m. PST on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday until approximately 1951. Red Ryder was played by Reed Hadley (1942 - 1944), Carlton KaDell (1945), and Brooke Temple (1946 - 1951).  Playing Red's sidekick Little Beaver was Tommy Cook (1942 - 1945), Frank Bresee (1942 - 1946 as an alternate), Henry Blair (1945 - 1947), Johnny McGovern (1947 - 1950), Sammy Ogg (1950 - 1951).
